Docking Solutions was formed in 1998 and is now recognised as one of the industry's leaders in tubular steel floating structures specialising in the design and production of custom made, high strength , low maintenance mooring systems.

Docking Solutions Design team includes Chartered Engineers and Naval Architects who pride themselves in working closely with customers to ensure all their individual requirements are fully understood and accommodated.  We aim to solve customers problems by building bespoke pontoons for a wide range of harbour, estuary and inland water sites all over Britain.

Docking Solutions Construction produces high quality, low maintenance pontoons which have a design life of 25years and an emphasis on recycled materials. For the heavier designs, welded tubular floats are used to provide a combination of strength, and stability.  These can be made into sections typically up to 25m long and a range of fixed and flexible joint options are available. Lighter weight designs and bridges are built to the same high standard.

Docking Solutions Workshops are in a large undercover fabrication facility with its own integral blasting and painting enclosure.  There is a staff of permanent, fully trained fabricators and installers.  The site provides road access for pontoons of up to 30m long, and direct water access on the River Dart.
